Come on mkcerusky, even with a great coach (he is from NZ afterall, and one of the greatest wingers the game has ever seen), Italy does not stand a chance of even beating Scotland.

After the Welsh beat England on the weekend, the poms have fallen out of the top three in the world, and by the end of the six nations they will have lost to both France and Ireland.

My prediction, from 1st place to last: Ireland, France, England, Wales, Scotland, Italy.

Most of the Super12 teams (the top half of the table at least) could beat the Italian national team, mkcerusky.

Sorry, I should have had England and Wales the other way about.

Dear GAK67, of course I was not serious, however, you must know perfectly the status of each team THIS YEAR, otherwise how can you say those things? If you look at the short history of the six nations, you'll find that Italy had beatern either scotland, wells, and I think Ireland too, but we have never beaten france and england. I think ther has been only one year in which we lost all the matches in the six nations.

...we'll se what happens...we'll see! smiling smiley

Moreover, concerning the Super 12 teams, it is like saying that the 6 best italian footbal team would for instance scotland: nothing surprising in that....

from the way it's panning out it should be a close game at least, and even if Scotland get the wooden spoon I am happy in the knowledge England will be lucky to get third place
