Log in problems

Firstly I will say I like the changes to the forum, got a bit of a shock when I looked this morning but the new features are great.

I can log in to post here but when I go to post a pic it says up the top logged in as then nothing and when I click on my images and my comments and logout it just takes me back home but there is no log on boxes.

Is anyone else having this problem???

Sadley my grammar is dead, I went to her funeral not long ago sad smiley

I would suggest that you remove any cookies for this site. You can do this by loading the following urls:

[www.plus613.net]

then

[www.plus613.net]

(make sure you load both)

Then if you load [www.plus613.net] you should have a login option. If not, you can login via [www.plus613.net]

Let me know if you have any problems.

Ok i've cleaned up the login code to stop this happening to other people. Now if you logout via the forum logout it'll actully log you out in the core system aswell.

Hmmm, I logged into the porn site as woberto to do some work and then accidentally logged into the plus site as woberto also. It logged me in as harvey but forums are logged as woberto. DK maybe you can kill me off or merge to fix this.

I have another log in problem,,,,
I cannot log in at all!

When I create a username and then try to log in with it, I get an error message that says that the username is used by somone else, and it also happens even though I have tried using a number of diffent user names....what giving?

plus613 has over 6000 registered users. I suggest you try a username that's more original =D

Well i just tested and registeration seems to be working fine. Did you activate your account via the email that was sent to your email address?

I've been gone for over a month. Now when I go to log in, I enter name and password, click login, from there it takes me to forum page without logging me in. I can't do password recovery because the email address I signed up with, I've lost the password to that addy. So I'm totally fucked. If worse comes to worse I can create another plus613 account, but I'd rather get back into my old account, if possibe.

If everything else fails use the following url to login:

The main problem i believe is people hitting plus613.com and then trying to login which will usually goto plus613.net

Maybe it's time to decommission plus613.com finally.

Maybe for the plus613.com vhost we need a http redirect to plus613.net, so nobody is using .com for anything but the 'initial' visit? Might save some people some headaches..

All right, here's the deal. I've lost the password to my Plus613 account and I've lost the password to the email account I signed up with (long story), so there's no way I can do a password recovery. Is there any way you can reset me so I can log in and pick a new email account? Or am I just gonna have to forget the Jarred_ account and start out fresh with a new one? I can do either one. Fuck it, I'll just make a new account.

I can't really reset your account because I have no way of knowing if that's really you. You'll just need to make a new account until you can remember the password to the email account or the password to this site for your account.

never had any problems with logging in until today...
normally I just double click the log-in name box and pro_junior shows up along with the password in the password box and I click on the log-in button...
today I have to type everything in click on log-in and then I get sent to a second log-in on the forum page and have to re-enter everything...

I get the same thing as pro_junior. I've also had a problem just connecting to the site lately - The first time I try it almost fully connects then just stops with 2 or 3 items remaining. I have to end the program then connect a second time and it completes the process. I'm one of those backwards heathens who has IE and a dialup connection but haven't had these problems in the past. In fact, they're such a minor inconvenience I was just going to put up with it 'til pj mentioned it so it seems that the problem may not be mine alone.

Porn side is fixed. I was chatting to a SOE the other day and he mentioned that search engines don't like 'site dupes' so by having www.domain.com and domain.com you actully rank lower. So i've gotten rid of www.*613.net. So people who have cookies for www.*613.net will need to relogin to *613.net

I swear this will be the last domain change of this kind winking smiley
