Figured it out....the smammer puts a space before the name, cunning

hmm.. for some reason the space doesnt work any more when i try it after revert posted.. but in the same post as stussy someone spoofed me again.

Is there any way you could send e-mails to the people who log in to this site? Some of the hacking may stop when Mom and Dad find out that Junior is looking at boobies on plus 613. You might try e-mailing some of the grosser, trashier porn. Anybody who is a regular visitor to this site most likely would not mind, esp if it knocks teenage boys off from their hacking and spamming. >:->

Unless somebody has actually told us what their email address is, there's no way of us finding it out.

which is why they are all showing mint with lowercase "M" now

There is always around security isn't there.

All usernames now have been locked down. No non-alpha numeric characters allowed or spaces. This should avoid all future security issues.

Pulse, why dont u monitor their ip's and then create a java script or a cookie that displays on their screen, even create an ip rule list for those repetitive offenders. Should stop em long enough before their ip if not static, resets.

That would be quite hard to develop. Besides, it's really hard for us to know what IP is legit, and what isn't. The person could be posting from work instead of from home, and suddenly they're banned, etc etc.

I believe revert has fixed the issue, so we'll wait and see on that first. Thanks for the suggestion
