Is it just me that thinks the world is not as it should be? I mean the IOTW is actually being updated weekly! This has really thrown me. What I used to beleive in is no longer an undeniable truth! Is it just a coincidence that it has been happening since the Large Hadron Collider has come online? Is this a sign of the end of the world?

Seriously though, well done to whoever is updating it and some good choices of pics too.

*cough* i've been taking over IOTW because pulse is a lazy bastard and never remembered to get around to it.. i'm no less lazy or have a better memory but i realise my faults and set a reminder to do it on monday afternoons =)

Hahah so you're cheating! I can take it back if you want, I'll try setting a reminder too winking smiley

I still reckon we should automate it.. code up some AI so it chooses an image based on rating + tags

Eg, image has a rating of 4+ and 15 votes, tags are "sky cloud building" and it's smart enough to say:

Here's an image uploaded by $uploader. Isn't it a great picture of sky cloud building? Enjoy!

You said the magic word "code" but who's always too lazy to write some?
Excellent use of the word "we" pulse.
DK, you should make pulse do this, or else, well something!

I use the collective term "we" in exchange of the word "darkklown".

So, I think "darkklown" should code something.

I don't do code. I make pretty pictures of speech bubbles for the gallery.

I didn't slightly modify your one, I made it from scratch! And didn't even use your design, if you zoom right in on it you'll see pointy corners and all sorts of pretty things I added.

So pllparsidgaosdjgtoiatjoaso to you.

We have some hot smiley

Anyway, 20x20px speech bubbles are about as good as my graphics skills get.. but yes it would be nice to bring the site out of the 90s in at least a few areas.

We need some nice graphics which work well with the minimal style of the sites.
