I hear ya Z and every Mac user I know loves theirs too for pretty much the same reasons you mentioned with the only complaint bein the buy in price compared to other systems, especially if one builds their own rig.

Bein one who always enjoys fiddlin with the ol PC knobs, even when dire consequences can be a result of those actions, I like my Linux set up on a PC based system. And .... for the $1000 worth of case and hardware I have invested in my system it's one that if custom built and ordered would carry a price tag at least double to what I have in it, which just makes it all the sweeter still
