I think we really need a new sister site, Originally when this site had only 25ish pages of pictures it was all comedy pictures, and landscapes and things that people actually want to look at, and then it got overwhelmed with porn so porn613 was created to clean it up, and now 1 in every 3 images is a picture of bush standing at a random podium mid speech, and the picture either has crude speech bubbles or a essay longer than the max word limit on my uni assignments pinned underneath. I would hazard the guess that people don't want to see bush when they are cruising the sight. Keep it to the political forums please where people are actually LOOKING to read about that stuff or share their opinion.
Alternatively DK and pulse could generate another site (covered in political party ads to cover server costs?) for photos like these and other pictures that are trying to prove one school of political thought superior to the other. It could be called something like political613 or beast613.
While we're at it, perhaps we should make cars613, landscape613, people613, babes613, space613, misc613 ...

Besides, some people want to politicize everything they see. Just looked at the comments to a photo of the smoke from some forest fires that blanketed Florida not long ago and someone decided it was nature getting even with us evil Americans. I guess my hair is thinning because I'm an evil American, too.
Well, I would love to going back to thinking that our (the United States) government was an inept but mostly harmless giant. But Bush & Co. have definitely shoved that over to being bent on fucking everything inside our borders up in order to make a few next generation robber barons better off and everybody outside of our borders scared shitless we're as stupid as we look.
It takes a special kind of intellectually bankrupt, greedy bunch of fuckfaces to make me nostalgic for Harry Herbert Hoover Heaver, Ronny Raygun or Jimmy Carter.
When common sense starts staging a comeback in our government, I'll start appreciating landscape photos again, and not before.
