This is the m82a1 50cal. sniper rifle, it has got to be the most powerful sniper rifle in the entire world. This sniper rifle is semi-automatic, air cooled and is magazine fed to use the .50 cal bullet, because of the size of the bullet this gun can easily take out lightly armoured vehicles. This weapon has an effective range of 1,830 meters and uses a 10x powered scope for the sniper to find his target

Man, wouldn't that be fun to take to a Muslim street protest? The bullet is so powerful that you could line up shots and get maybe three or four towelheads at once.

Actually the .50 cal will be the most powerfull for some time . Hathcock a marine sniper in Vietnam used the old browning .50 cal with a scope He has the most kills of any sniper The idea of a sniper putting a bullet through another sniper's scope as seen in private ryan and enemy at the gate came from his killed a Vietcong sniper who was stalking him by putting a bullet through the sniper's scope

I've used both the rifle in high power rifle competition and personally own a Barret M82A1 (M107) .50 cal. Both are superb, accurate rifles, no matter what the target.

Sorry fossil but I don`t think he is like you or your friends He is not gay or ignorant

Carlos Norman Hathcock II (May 20, 1942–February 23, 1999) was a Marine sniper during the Vietnam War. No Marine sniper was more effective than Carlos Hathcock at killing North Vietnamese and Viet Cong forces. He achieved 93 confirmed kills, but his actual total is believed to be well over 100. As a testament to his effectiveness, North Vietnam once put a bounty of $30,000 on his head. This was far more than the average $50-$100 bounty put on the heads of other U.S. snipers. The Viet Cong knew him as well and called him Long Trang, "the white feather," because he often wore one in his bush hat. Hathcock remains a legend in the Marines. The Carlos Hathcock Award is presented annually to the Marine who does the most to promote marksmanship.

Well not really considering the PTRD has twice the power of the .50BMG round, it just wasn't considered a "sniper rifle"
