yea. USA was hardly favored though. Dominican Republic was but they lost to cuba. The best players in MLB are not from USA so not a suprise.

and ftr the cuba-dominican game was great

everyone makes a big deal of the U.S. losing, but most of the other teams took players from the american and national league to field teams, like the olympics. if the U.S. had all those players noone could touch us

not a huge baseball fan myself, but even i know there is something wrong with losing to Canada

that's true for sure. we never even got a shot at the dominicans or puerto ricans etc.......
truly lame appearance on our part.

but it's good to see that a sport invented in the U.S. is so popular world wide.
