Canadian engineers designed the ejection system for the Canadian CF-18's and the US adopted it. I know because I met the engineers and saw their development labs and sat in the CF-18 cockpit. I barely fit in the cockpit. My knees hit the dash panels where the MFD's are.

Did they just bring it out to make sure it still works and then put it back in the warehouse?

There is no way it can carry all this ammo at once..it has only four mounting points lol, plus two sidewinders.

I prefer the Honda 600f - I got an early one. She's bored out a little for that extra squirt and I got her re-jetted to take a Scorpion end can. I can leave capital cities in my wake. It's the only way to fly...

this is already an archaic plane, due to the introduction of the F-1nerd
smiley and E models. It looks similar, but quite a bit larger and the edges are squared off. and yes, the US navy has already replaced the F-14 aboard ships. No more Tomcat. The new F-1nerd
smiley's can also carry refueling tanks, so the S-3 is no longer aboard ships either.

Archaic just isn't a correct term for the F/A 18. There might be more advanced versions out there, but the original design is still a marvel of aeronautical engineering.
I saw these Canadian jets fly at an airshow. One of them was flying really low at just above stall speed at a high AOA (with it's nose pointed high.) For some reason at this speed it was so incredibly loud it made the ground shake. Then it put on afterburners and and shot almost straight up and was through the clouds in seconds.

cdn air force, military in general that is, is pretty useless right now. air force used to be cutting edge but has fallen behind the times. didn't even have guided missle capabilities. cdn politians are too busy kissing ass of all the immigrants coming here and handing out cash to countries that are too stupid to keep their own shit together. that and letting the fuckin' separatists try to break up the damn country.

kids, the US Air Force identifies the inert munitions by using blue bands or by painting the entire munition blue. Rocket motor sections are generally painted with a brown stripe and those munitions painted with a yellow band are the ones to fear for they are the high explosive ones.

hey 137138 fuck you goof.Does WWI and WWII ring a bell. How about Korea(the forgotten war) and the over 10,000 Canadians that volunteered willingly to fight in Vietnam.read a book fuckface! PS.What war has there been since Vietnam?

137138: Canada was fighting in WW 1 while the Yanks were remaining neutral; the US President at the time was Wilson. America didn't declare war on Germany until April 1917. Keep in mind the war started in 1914. America was "over there" alright, albeit a little late. WW 2 was no exception. America stayed neutral until December 7, 1941 (a mere 3 weeks from 1942. WW 2 began in 1939). Once again late, but better late than never. Canada was in Korea in the 1950's too. At the end of WW 2 Cananda had the third largest navy in the world. Politics and politicians probably learned the lessons of two and a half world wars and led the country in a different direction. Peace keeping was the way to invest in world peace instead of kicking down doors. Canada did send troop to Afghanistan after Sept 11th and lost four troops to some hyper American jet jockey in an F-16 with a 500 lb bomb. On a positive note Canadian snipers wacked a bunch of Al Quada who were pinning down the Americans in a firefight. One Canadian sniper holds the unofficial longest range kill record,(sorry I can't remember the yardage and I don't want to guess). The US governmeny wanted to give the Canadain soldier a US medal for that but the Canadian government wouldn't let him accept it.

Vietnam WASN'T a war... it was a large scale battle... maybe you should do a little reading yourself...

5721 i guess you are right about vietnam.I also guess that the fact there was a book written about vietnam called THE TEN THOUSAND DAY WAR is way off. Also the fact that there were 4 times the amount of munitions dropped on vietnam(in TNT ratings)than both World Wars combined. So by those numbers i figure it was just a large scale battle lol.time to
read again

One last stupid comment,i guess a battle that lasts from 1956 to 1975 where millions of souls are killed is just a "Large Scale Battle".
