Basically each light change 4 people would stand on the crossing, get photos taken, lights would change, let cars through, rinse and repeat.

We walked through there, and came back through 10 mins later and the queue had probably doubled.

Photo was taken at 1:52pm on a Monday; so not eg weekend or anything. Just always busy.

It was like this when I lived there 25 years ago too, except without the traffic control. Used to just be Japanese girls waiting to cross and block the road for 8 hours a day.

This is facing the opposite direction to the album cover.
