Problem is you don't know who "they" are yet. We do however know who
"they" are that murdered a legislator and their partner and attempted
the same on another. No country wide half mast for them... no immediate POTUS
phone call to the democratic state governor offering support (in fact they were
mocked by POTUS)... funny that. I agree Kirk didn't deserve this in any way, I
feel for his kids, family, friends... but I also find it interesting how now
certain people are up in arms about reactions to this only weeks after the above
was quietly brushed under the carpet.

Charlie Kirk’s “Black pilot” comment is a masterclass in how racist dog
whistles are packaged. Let’s break down the formula:
Step 1: The Dog Whistle
He leads with: “If I see a Black pilot, I hope he’s qualified.”
That’s the hook. It signals to the most hateful people: “You’re right to
doubt Black professionals.” It plants distrust based on race alone.
Step 2: The Softening
He quickly adds, “That’s not what I really believe, I’m just saying
because of DEI…”
This is the cover. He courts racist approval, then pulls back just enough to
deny he said what he said.
Step 3: The Fake Numbers
He claims things like “half fail their simulators.” That’s not how pilot
certification works. Every pilot—Black or white—must pass the exact same
rigorous standards. There is no “half.” But throwing in numbers makes the
lie feel real.
⸻
Here’s what gets left out:
• Right now, the U.S. doesn’t have enough pilots. That’s why airlines
need more pathways into the profession.
• DEI programs don’t lower standards—they widen access so that qualified
people who were historically excluded can enter the pipeline.
• These are private companies making business decisions, not government
quotas. They’ve found that diverse teams perform better, and they want to
recruit from the broadest pool possible.
⸻
This isn’t new. Trump launched his 2016 campaign the same way:
• First, the dog whistle: “They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing
crime. They’re rapists.”
• Then the softening: “…and some, I assume, are good people.”
Same formula. Same tactic.
1. Say something racist.
2. Walk it back just enough.
3. Sprinkle in fake numbers or qualifiers to make it sound credible.
That’s how you launder prejudice into “debate.”

copy/paste some gibberish from
a random person on facebook
instead of, you know, not being lazy and actually watching
the full
clip for yourself...
Over the last few days there has been a lot of people watching old clips and
discovering how wrong they were about Charlie Kirk.
Clearly, quasi is not one of them.
Even he did, he wouldn't admit it.
