Apparently Muslims wash their feet before they pray which is all well and good or whatever but some of them make a huge fucking mess in the PUBLIC restroom. Some of them will fill water bottles and then go in a stall and wash their feet there, also making a huge fucking mess and leaving the bottles behind...
Recently there have been crackdowns on enforcing a longstanding law that has been ignored for far too long, which requires CDL drivers to be able to read and comprehend the English language. No, it's not racist as there are plenty of white Ukrainian and Russian truckers that don't speak or read English.

I had a friend that regularly traveled to India (Mumbai) for work.
The toilets there are squats. A hole in the ground that that you squat over and water hose to wash up, no paper.
At the airports nd other areas frequented by "western" visitors, the local governments decided to install normal toilets, you know, the one's that civilised people sit on, use toilet paper, and then flush.
Well that did not go down well with the locals, they deliberately shat all over them, literally filling the cubicles with shit, making them un-use-able.
Why the fuck do we tolerate so much backwards, stone-aged behavior and customs when there is no reciprocation?

We've always had instruction cards on the back of toilet doors showing how to use them, not to squat standing on them etc.

We have a lot of Indians.

I can see the pro's and con's kinda.

When personal hygiene is NOT possible, a squat keeps you contact free.
Assuming you have shoes on and water available but most countries still wipe with thier left hand.

When personal hygiene IS possible, why would you ever use a squat?
Straightens up your internal plumbing? Get more out of each movement?

Incidentally, that's why we call certain countries "shit-hole countries" it's just a statement of fact.

The Chinese peasant soldiers from the villages, who came out here with at least a million each, are just the same as the Indians. Also if you ask the middle class Indians, or the Chinese from Hong Kong, about it, you'll get the same answers.

One of my kids moved to a middle-class neighborhood of townhouses outside of Charlotte, North Carolina where there is a large population of Indians. This conversation has me wondering.
