Simple Truth and Happy Egg are cage free, grain fed, etc.. these have been around $8/doz. for a few years...
The $9.49 price on lower right is for 5 dozen, so those are $1.89/doz.

No it's not. It says 12 count on the tag

The 5 doz is the $21.95 (60 ct), 4.35/doz is the cheapest there.

That is indeed incorrect.

I must have been running low on sleep and/or caffeine.. rotating shifts suck.

$21.95 is for 5 dozen Kroger brand eggs, and yes, $4.35/ doz.
Simple Truth is also a Kroger brand.

Kroger owns Fred Meyer stores and are not known for having low prices on anything.
I can get eggs for less $$ at Winco or Costco, even Safeway is lower than Freddie's.

They start around $3USD / doz here for generic stuff in Coles (one of our 2 big chains) supermarket, probably the same in Woolworths. I'm sure they're cheaper in ALDI etc; but also go up to probably $10/doz from the hipster stand at the market etc.

A man bun means either expensive food or expensive coffee.

Speaking of which.. it's bacon time.

I've just run out of bacon. And buns. Too much bread/pastry makes me swell up anyway. Why do they carry on so much about eggs?

You mean all those arguments and posts between Quasi and so on are about making cakes? The world's in upheaval, the media is annoying everyone I know over its obsession with whom won an election in an alien country, and they're arguing about... I think I'll make it an early night.
