This is hard to watch on the news.
Not because of the 200+ dead and the ongoing search of basements and parking garages.
Rather because of the fucking commies/socialists whose first question is "where the government money at?" whilst throwing mud at the visiting mayor and other officials.
Fuck off cunts, you are going to get way more than your share but it still won't be enough.

In Florida there are barrier islands, natural formations just off the mainland that take the brunt of wind and waves from storms and protect the mainland to a degree. These islands are actually large sandbars subject to shifting from hurricanes and even the action of daily tides, and I'm sure they're not unique to Florida. Wealthy people here in Trumpland who call centrist Democrats or independent voters like me "radical leftist commies" pay a fortune for property on these islands, build expensive homes there right on the beach, and when the inevitable hurricanes come along that do their natural thing and reshape the island, tearing away at that property and fancy homes, those captains of anti-communist conservatism put out their hands looking for government money to fix the problem they created for themselves by throwing their money into a bad area to build in. So who is worse, woberto?

I hear ya q-man. And have seen a few docos about Florida, including the sea-wall/surf-break disaaters.
But this stuff has been getting me angried-up lately.
