I was told there are people who imagine government will be a computer. That these people don't understand computers. So I haven't lost sleep over it as it will fail. I didn't realise how annoying their efforts would be.

All attempts at surveillance and bureaucratic control are to run the process by computer - cutting out the bureaucrat.
