If you live where these critters are natives and one gets into your house I'd
hafta wonder how?
In Texas, just like in Oz, nearly every venomous snake, lizard and spider are
natives to our lands and I've yet to have had any as house guests 'cept things
so small they can get anywhere like scorpions or spiders

That critter is on a lanai, that's a screened in back porch in Florida speak.
Probably the screen was already ripped or very weak from years of weathering.
They find their way into open garages too. It's mating season and they're out
lookin' for love, sometimes in the wrong places.
