You mean yeah, they do need that, so they can get in their driveway....
That model of VW bug is a front wheel drive.
This picture tells me straight up that the dolly wheels have been fitted to it
because
the car regularly crosses a dip - either in a driveway or causeway where there
is a steep rise immediately after it.
The rear end would of been scraping on the ground thus jamming the car on the
crossing. The dolly wheels
would lift the rear wheels off the ground, just enough for the car to cross the
dip and being a front wheel drive,
it can pull itself across and then travel on it's way.
Front wheel drives can't pop wheelies Wob :-)

Thanks again for your comments Roberto. Now we have an idea of your age
too.
To us adults, the title of this post indicates many things and also implies
humour.
The title tells us that I and every other grown up here knows that this
particular vehicle does not need dolly wheels.
The humour is obtained by peeling back the layers of the onion and realising
that the car is in fact crap, is a FWD and the owner has opted for a stoopid
spoiler and dolly wheels perhaps as a sign of their own mature sense of humour.
Buying a sensible can but then adding a bit of rock'n'roll to tell the world
that they don't take thing too seriously, or that they are into street drags but
this is just their "other car". It just goes on and on. It is truely
amazing.

recently I built a fence between my yard and Paul's yard. Paul didn't want a
fence...he called me Donald Trump because I was "building a
wall"...then on the side of his garage that I see, he hung a Pink Floyd The
