This may require a rewrite of what? The 2nd Amendment? That certainly seems to
be the implied intent in this caricature. Thomas Jefferson did not author the
Bill Of Rights. James Madison did and it was rewritten several times.
What is my point? Americans are incredibly ignorant when it comes to their own
history.

With the ongoing "rewrite" of our Constitution under the current
administration, and not in the way it was intended, through congressional and a
legally required state by state vote, as is laid out in the overarching document
our govt was always intended to follow in changing the will and intent of
Constitutional process, we edge ever closer towards dictatorship.
BTW, I hardly see the TJ quote as a part of the 2nd amendment, nor could anyone
with more than 2 brain cells kickin around upstairs, yet its relevancy in the
discussion of gun rights/gun control is certainly relevant in light of what's
being proposed.
Political cartoons and caricatures have always taken a certain liberty and
license with the facts. This one is no different than many others that have
come before it, yet its point is certainly just as poignant and in step with the
issue(s) at hand regardless

If it was liberal propaganda you'd be all over it. Regardless, my point
remains.

Yeah Blah, like I was all over it when the lib media portrayed GWB as a chimp,
huh?
My points are still just as valid, whether you choose to admit it or
otherwise,
Sorry, but the ol tried n true lib tactic of bait n switch BS just dudn play
here

wait... problem...
Technical issues. Sorry.
I don't really intend to play bait & switch, I was just trying to make a
joke.
I didn't comment on your points. Why should I admit to their validity or
not?
Anyway, I may not be as liberal as you might think. I try to have an open mind
and not pigeon hole myself into a descriptor or category. It is a little
annoying to have it done to me. I know according to you I am a liberal and
therefore worthy of your disdain, ridicule, and accusation, but then I am not
subject to your definition in the 1st place. I have the freedom and ability to
think for myself. If my thoughts are at variance with yours and it is an
irritant to you well I'm sorry but it just isn't my problem.
