I could be like F_D and leave you all hanging and hope for more guesses but ¤¥¤ got it. It is a baoding ball and makes twinkly-dink sounds when used.

For those who don't know, baoding balls come in pairs, are also called Chinese hand exercise balls, and are used to improve dexterity and build strength in the hand, fingers and thumb. Inside of each is a coiled piece of thick steel wire to act as a chime and another small steel ball that rolls around and strikes the coil to make them quietly chime. The pair I have harmonize together and sound very cool.

Damn, Fossil, THAT would be scary but it reminds me of those too, just a lot smaller. It's only about 2" diameter. Very appropriate for Halloween though smiling smiley
