Hmm, I see my horse comes in 2nd in this test. I do hafta wonder what kinda
results would be found if the same test were performed on a Linux OS machine.
The version of Firefox Ubuntu uses is custom tailored in a partnering between
the Ubuntu and Mozilla teams with an overall result I personally enjoy so I
can't get excited about the idea of switchin to Chrome
Seems to confirm my thoughts on the performance of IE though .... sorry for you

The only issue with Chrome is its memory load is HUGE. It has the raw
performance but it's at a significant memory expense due to their separate
processes architecture.
And agreed, any Windows person worth their salt avoids IE like the plague

I haddn even tried Chrome, so thanks for the heads up O man!
I run into a lot of winders users who don't even know there's anything but IE.
You kinda know where the conversation's headed when you ask "So uh, what
browser are you runnin now?" and they answer "What's a browser? I mean
I usually let the ol lady have the run of the aisles when we head to Wallyworld,
so, what's your question ????"
Just one of the downsides of the peace and quiet I so enjoy livin in the land of
the toothless sister lovers here in the sticks. It's scary when they ask for a
faster computer and then tellya an 800mhz would be a helluvan upgrade from what
they're runnin now
Sometimes after they leave I cruise back into my office and give my trusty i7 a
big hug and a gentle kiss ... yeah, I'm kinda weird like that

Havent had any issues with chrome since the deanster led me on to it about a
year and a half ago!
