Uhm .... Mr. President, I second that motion and will witness your
signature.
VP Biden, and Ms. Pelosi, here are your letters of resignation. Please sign
these and I'll second and witness yours as well.
Great! Now, on behalf of the American people let me extend their most sincere
appreciation and thanks.
Sigh .... it's good to have dreams

The problem with dreams is you wake up and reality hits you in the face.

Wow... The tinfoil hat crowd is getting desperate posting this crap.

Mrkim Report This Comment Date: February 16, 2010 12:02AM
Tinfoil hats?
You mean all those cats who believe the govt. can run a healthcare system for
300+ million people without any additions to the deficit or extra cost out of
pocket to the American public AND that it will even SAVE us money?
Or that the puppetmaster is shootin straight when one week he attacks all those
nasty "fat cat bankers" then turns around the next week to say the
"fat cats" at Goldman-Sachs and Chase are different and their multi
million dollar bonuses are A-OK by him?
Or the ones that believe levying $90 billion in new federal fees on the banking
industry doesn't just become an indirect tax on every banking customer when the
banks turn right around and add new fees to all their account holders to recoup
these costs?
Or the ones that are OK with the puppetmaster givin Iran until 1-1-10 to come
into line with the US/UNs demands regarding their nuclear (weapons development)
program ... or else! yet now it's mid February of 2010 and all he says now is
that the Chinese and Russians aren't helping and just keeps scolding them for
not playin fair while he continues to formulate a plan of action MONTHS past the
date he gave 'em?
Or maybe the ones that think draggin the largest terrorist trial in history
right into the big middle of one our largest cities with an anticipated price
tag for all the extra security through the course of their trials running a tab
around $1,000,000,000 (we obviously DON'T have) is a great idea?
Or maybe the ones that keep pushin for taxation on carbon emissions even though
the whole global warming myth keeps being taken apart piece by piece at an
almost daily rate as we find out the "scientific evidence" came from
leftist papers and articles, or was based on manipulated data that now somehow
they can't even seem to find?
Or maybe the ones like the puppetmaster who somehow think constantly expanding
the size and scope of the federal govt at an outrageous pace (more than 20% in
just the past year) is somehow a good idea under the worst economic conditions
on record even though the populace keeps screaming that it wants SMALLER not
MORE govt control and intervention?
Or the ones that think handin out selective tax credits to businesses will help
jump start the economy and get people back to work when the real issue is
businesses are scared shitless of what new tax or other BS policy the govt'
plans to pop on 'em next and really the bottom line is businesses need sales for
their products before they will be able to hire any new employees?
Or the cats that think we can continue to spend, Spend, SPEND our way out of the
worst economic times since the Great Depression when it would really seem like
just gettin the damned government outta the way so BUSINESS can help move the
country forward economically would make the most sense of all?
If you're talkin about those loons in their tinfoil hats, man I'm right there
with ya dude.
I heard it posed to you before, without a response I might add, but let me ask
again just for fun to tell us all a few things that have improved since the O
man plopped his ass in the big chair up in DC?
And ... if you don't have anything worthwhile to add how bout you just take your
big ol cup of STFU and your pointy shiny lil hat and go find a nice quiet place
to relax while the sane people work through all this bullshit

Bah, might wanna bone up on those reading comprehension & retention skills
there Shock. I made sure I got Biden and Pelosis' letters of resignation signed
too
I'm definitely a conservative, just not anything close to mainstream. Not too
many atheist, former hippie, pro-choice, dope smoker types to found in the ranks
of the conservatives.
The above statement reminds me of a comment Ronald Reagan made to Sam Donaldson
once though. Sam asked him something along the lines if he'd ever made a
mistake and Reagan said "Yes, as a matter of fact I was a Democrat for many
years"

Mrkim Report This Comment Date: February 16, 2010 02:14PM
Grrrrr .... them's fightin words 'round these parts DK and for damned sure here
at the ol casa
Dumocrats remind me of a comment one of our posters here who had been raised in
a communist country made several years back which went somethin like "When
you're young, if you're not a communist, they say you have no heart. Then when
your older, they say if you're still a communist, you have no brains."
All that lovely pie in the sky BS is great when you're young and don't know
better, hell it's even a part of what adds to making a balanced society all in
all. However, once you have reached middle age, if you haven't yet figured out
that your life is yours to live, make what you will of it or not, that no one
owes you success, and that our country only assures you the chance to create
your own "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness", you obviously
just don't get it.
Though it's decidedly a generalization here's my take on liberals vs.
conservatives:
Liberals want a society where everyone is equal and happy together. No one
fails because the government, as the great overseer, takes care of everyone from
the cradle to the grave. The lower end of society is always being bolstered by
the benefits provided them from what the govt. takes from the higher end
producers. Personal freedoms are always minimized through the concepts of
political correctness and censorship as this too is accepted as a cost everyone
must pay so that everyone can be more "equal". Liberals tend to view
themselves as in support of the betterment of humanity through controlling the
inputs and outcome of society through the powers of the govt. they empower to do
so as it's "what's best for us all", which all in all is more like
using the govt. to grade society on a bell curve. Though they always are ready
to champion those who fail, they think doing so with dollars from other peoples
pockets is not only the way it should be, but that it's even righteous to do
so.
Conservatives want a society where everyone has the same rights, and from these
rights are equal to create whatever life they choose to and the govt. is only
there to help in the short term if one falters. They understand that some will
be winners while others will not, but that's just part of how it all works and
they're not in agreement with the Robinhoodish "take (steal) from the rich
and give to the poor" idea as this is viewed as punishment for one having
succeeded. They tend to champion personal freedoms and as such tend to despise
political correctness and censorship as they choose to instead opt for less
govt. intervention in their lives. Their philosophy is more in tune with the
idea that one gets to make their own choices and even fail if the choices are
bad ones but that through failure they will (or should) learn from these and
make better choices to insure their own enriched future. Conservatives tend to
view themselves as in support of humanity by allowing people and business the
freedom to do and be what they choose and what's best for the individual and
indeed society as a whole is in allowing them the right to make their own
choices. Surprisingly these folks tend to give more in terms of aid when there
is a need, but do so from their own pockets.
This may be a flawed view, but at least it's one I damned well own and will make
no apologies for in considering myself as a conservative
