This boat has been renamed "Ady Gil' and was sunk in the last week as it
was trying to disrupt the Japanese Whaling fleet ('Scientific Research' - yeah
right
) in the Southern Ocean.

Wow. I didn't realize it was the same boat.
I'm not too sure these Whale Warrior folks "get it". They've been
harassing the Jap whalers for years, with what result? Going to "war"
for a cause that you're willing to die for, but not willing to kill for, seems
strategically unsound. Start sinking some of those whaling ships, and take the
consequences. The whalers aren't doing it because it's fun, they're doing it
because it's insanely profitable for them, with minimal risk. They obviously
don't give half a flying shit about global public opinion. Currently, there's
very little incentive for them to stop.

the stinking shit bombs they throw at the whalers are are funny...like that's
going to stop them.

If the Japs want to keep whaling, they should have to do it the same way the
Native Alaskans do it, with a hand-held harpoon from a fucking rowboat. Put a
little risk and challenge into it.
