I personally think that our technological advances will eventually become what
wipes us all out. We live in a closed system that can only handle so much before
drastic effects take place. I know the smartass comments are going to roll in as
tradition has it on here so I'll just stfu.

Absolutely, the more we rely on technology that that is only designed to
operate in optimal conditions the less we as a species can deal with changes in
our environment. And we lose mroe and more our connection to and thus our
understanding of our environment and how to survive change within it.

now there is where scientific fact differs from ideological thought. there is
no scientific proof of man's intervention in climate change as definite.

While a logical case can be made that mankind and our antics could impact us on
a global scale, there seems to be no solidly scientific proven data to relate
that this has occurred.
But ... fear mongering by those positioned to make a hefty profit from the
miracles of "green" technologies seem to have gone a long way towards
foisting the improvable claims of the Global Warming(ists) upon the masses and
then claim it to be verifiable "truth". They just can't seem to
actually prove out those claims, which seems to be of less importance when
there's $$$$$ to me made
