Re: the value of the dollar... considering I'm in Canada, and our Dollar is one
of the key ones measured against the US buck, you've actually risen in buying
power in North American in this administration. During the final Bush years I
saw our dollar go from 70ish cents US all the way up to $1.09 US... well above
parity. This year we dropped back (aka the US $ strengthened) to as low as 87
cents US per Can $1.... and we're sitting in the 94 cent range right now. That
turn around happened right at the time this administration was elected and we
have been below parity since. The US buck tanked a lot worse under Bush.
