So true it's sad.
Once more, the American people en masse spoke their piece about not wanting the
bailout deal, even managed to overwhelm capitol hills email system with the
volume of emails and .... congress just went about their merry way and did WTF
THEY and their handlers (puppetmasters is really closer to the truth) party,
investors, etc. wanted them to do and voted it in anyway.
I'm curious if anyone else finds it odd that some piece of legislation like this
comes along and the 1st and often 2nd round of congressional voting defeats the
measure, with congressional members publicly sayin they voted due to their
constituants desires, but .... in the last vote, it gets passed anyway, even
when public opinion has remained fairly constant in having opposed it.
I never spoke with one single person in favor of this bailout, personally or in
business, the news was filled with oppositional opinions from folks all over the
place, congressmen/women all stated public opinion was against it, so when did
that all miraculously change

Pork, my brother. Over $100 Billion in additional pork, to get people who
originally opposed the bill to vote for it, by giving them pork-money for their
districts. Plain and simple, and it makes me ill.
