Nicely put Mrkim. Though everyone has a right to an opinion. I well imagine
Monster has improved his enviroment and sacrificied himself and his personal
dreams for the sake of his fellow man and the well being of planet earth. We
should really be honoured that someone with such eloquence and foresight deigns
to grace us with his presence and impart such pearls of wisdom. Though a tiny
voice keeps saying to me that the only thing Monster has managed to change over
the years are his underpants- and not on a regular basis

Our educational system straight up sucks and most of its failings can be laid
straight into the laps of the parents for not givin a shit or choosing to let
the schools raise their kids because they're too damned lazy to get involved and
do it themselves.
Then we have the fucked up psychological bunch claiming we can't give kids a
failing grade because it'll adversely effect their delicate sensibilities, so
even if lil jane or johnny is a total spazoid, chooses to do nothing in school
they still get passed along to the next years curriculum regardless, and .....
can't even be punished anymore by the teachers for bein a total fuck-up and
taking time and energy away from the teachers tryin to impart anything to the
kids who actually WANT to learn!
So, in summation, the parents aren't doin their part to insure the kids get an
education and then the fuckin liberals have totally tied the hands of the school
administrators and teachers so they can't even realistically grade the students
work, nor have any power to control them while they're in school which means
most schools have basically become state sponsored day cares where the kids show
up to so Mommy and Daddy can go to work!
The education I got was decent, no where near what many other countries hand
out, but still at least engaging, thought provoking and enriching, and I DID
enjoy school. Then again, if I failed a class my parents would punish me for it,
if I fucked up at school I knew there would consequences that would extend past
what the teachers themselves did to me for it, and because there were
consequences for such actions, my education wasn't continually put on hold while
the teacher dumbed down the curriculum to the lowest denominator level within
the class, nor required to put up with 1/2 a room full of jack-asses tryin out
routines best left for amature night at the local comedy club.
I've said it before, but political correctness is killin this country and doin a
damned fine job of it

hehe they do that here too Kim, give the kids a pass grade just as long as they
write their names on the paper. My gf (teacher) had one idiot boy draw a
picture of people having sex with a caption and then got annoyed because she
told his parents. Clearly he thought his film review assignment was of little
importance
It is true about the parents though, some of
the kids get all the help they need from home, others nothing, but they all get
the same education at school and the ones that do the best seem to have parents
who give a shit and have consequences for doing badly. People forget the school
is there as part of a complete education, parents are still required to make an
effort too. The system here babies them and panders to their whining while
letting the parents call the shots. Sad world
