This is a tooth from a Tyrannosaurus Rex. It is from Cretaceous Period (65,000,000 B.C.), Hell Creek formation. It was collected on private land in Hardin County, South Dakota. This tooth is in very good condition and has awesome serrations. It is 3 1/2" (straight measurement, not curve) in length and is about 1 1/4" wide with a 3 1/4" circumference. It has no restoration or reconstruction

90% of the time if you find a tooth there's a skull very close by. don't normally find just a tooth. but if skull is exposed to weathering then skull fragmentates and is strewn about.
