I've paddled my kayak to a very shallow part of the harbor then just leaned
back and let the breeze push me where it will. It is very calming, but you have
to be mindful of boaters who may not be paying attention. Laying down on a
paddleboard as in the picture and not paying attention to surroundings could be
hazardous to your health.

That water looks too calm for a harbour.
In Australia girls do handstands and things on boards on lakes and lagoons.
It's a giggle session of course, as they fall in.

The harbor here is about 7 km wide by 30 km long in its main section with most
of the shoreline protected from building, and there are times when it's as
smooth as glass. Because most of it is less than three meters deep there is no
shipping, just private boats and tour boats. I was on it in the kayak one smooth
day when I came upon a large pod of slow-moving dolphins and was able to paddle
along with them for an hour and a half until I had to turn around. Best day on
the water ever even though it was hot as hell.
