Hunting is necessary. Did I tell you about the time I shot a baby rabbit? It was newly out of the burrow, eating a massive grass leaf, compared to its own size, didn't comprehend a human is a threat and looked in wonder at the .22 rifle barrel. I don't regret shooting it. Feral animals eat the grass that's meant for your livestock. Just as they eat the vegetables that are meant to be sold to you.

I later worked out you should pour half a bucket of water down a burrow and place the bucket on the ground, with the open end in front of the burrow. Rabbits don't like being wet, they crawl out slowly and into the bucket as a means of hiding from you. Cut their throats, pick a good one and there's dinner or pet food. It saves bullets and means less lead. It's also faster than waiting for them to come out - hunting is so time consuming.

So having eradicated your problem, time spent hunting to defend agricultural production could be used to boost it. As it is, we're fighting like the Vietnam war: the same battle over the same ground over and over.

It says killing for fun, not for food or pest eradication. Get a grip. In humans it's sometimes a precursor to serial killings. Are you a serial killer?

Leads to serial killings

I've never heard of that being the case here, or in the UK or New Zealand. It may be a cultural thing. For the rest of it, point taken, five votes.

Children who kill multiple animals for entertainment or have been known to go on to become serial killers.

Also, note the two photos I purposely placed previous to this one to demonstrate a lack of conscience among people who kill for sport. Sorry, Anon, they're well known in the U.S. so totally irrelevant to advanced intellectuals such as yourself despite their father being in a position to create havoc around the world.

I've never known that sequence in Australia, Britain, Canada, New Zealand or anywhere else but one comment from someone who read a book from one of your authors. I think, and have done so since Michael Moore's Bowling for Columbine, that the psychological literature from your country should be contained within your country as there's something wrong.

Suggestion:
1 A virus from Wuhan doesn't matter as rich people don't get sick. Oops, rich people get sick and die;
2 Eleven mass shootings a week don't matter as rich people don't get shot. Oops, they do, quick, let's call it terrorism (two tiered justice system).

I could go on. Peter, Pro and yourself have listed problems in other conversations on murders and police shootings. Such a country has a culture with deep structural problems - what's true there isn't true anywhere else that I know of.
