Perhaps the original African slaves sold to America were in fact savages that you would not want sharing your community.
But once the horrors of slavery were abolished, a huge job lay ahead to either deport the slaves or offer them to share in the community and wealth of the country they are in. The latter would take commitment from ALL parties to ensure the next generation would be integrated.
But this is where America (just as an example) failed because not enough people were on the same page. Not everyone obeys the law and many act out in opposition, be it over minor things or extreme points of view.
I am most definitely a racist but mostly to do with Adian drivers...

I've said it before, I most definitely don't consider myself racist. I genuinely hate everyone.
