I think the few remaining rational, honorable republicans and the rest of the rational U.S. citizens are fed up with Trump and his radical right followers and there will be a reckoning.

While actual advisors to Trump are falling like dominos to their legal issues and the sensible part of the party is trying to distance itself from the dumpster fire, then you have this guy who leans hard into it, hoping that lying about being an advisor will cause the Trumptards, Qanons, and treasonous 'patriots' to elect him... rather than get run out the state political race on a rail.
