WOKE-TARDS don't like the arguments that the "unwilling" indentured servants (politcal prisoners and vagrants) were effectively slaves.
Apparently it takes away from the plight of black slaves, who are the ONLY ones we can refer to as slaves.
Blacks OWN slavery didn't you know?
You can't imply that anyone of another skin colour, under any circumstances, was a slave.
Especially those pesky Jews that spent 40 years wandering around looking for Palestine.
Anyhoo...
...the real point is that Irish people don't care if we "culturally appropriate" them for StPatricks Day.
They don't care that there is a Leprechaun on the box of Lucky Charms.
