Mmmm, that's a sweet lookin ride, but one I can't say I recognize, what izzat 'berto. Looks kinda like a Mazda

Mazda RX3 coupe with a lot of work done.
May have started life as an 808 if they made them in 2 doors.

Thanks man, I thought it was a Mazda but had no idea what model it was. The nice fender flares, added rubber and sweet wheels really make it a much better lookin ride than the stockers were.

If there was one thing I'd like to eventually change in the body work of my Eclipse would be to add similar fender flares, both for the sporty look they add, but even more so for how they allow more rubber to get stuffed between the fender liips

that does look pretty cool, but being a Mazda, it trashed my hopes of it being a mean ass MF V-8.

Though my old Capri never had a V-6 DOHC Cosworth under the hood, nor the massively increased fenders and matching tires these race Capris were sporting, it's mean lil tricked out 2.0l was a screamer, it handled like a slot car and it at least did share a well done rear spolier much like the blue and white car shown in this vid [youtu.be] If you can imagine the mostly stock bodywork of the red and white car with the blue and whites spoiler grafted on, that's close to what mine looked like.

All in all it was a blast to own and drive. I cut my modding teeth on it back in the mid 80s, learning tons of lessons that have never been forgotten. Sadly I bet I haddn seen one on the street in nearly 10yrs now
