After moving to the country I'm reminded every time I venture back into town
WHY I don't live there anymore

If i have to go into the office i catch a nice clean train and go offpeak (like
now, 10am) rather than deal with that shit.
Otherwise I'm in a quiet little suburb ~4mi from city centre by the beach. Quite
happy with that.
That's why i have a 2010 car that's done the equiv. of around 14000 miles.

Meh, my daily commute is a cake walk, 6 miles and on a bad day 15 mins. It's
after I get there it sometimes gets wild.
I'm sure I don't tack on the miles like PJ though I am often loggin 200 miles a
day and sometimes that entails lotsa urban sprawl battle session mileage.
I def have a love hate relationship w/Dallas traffic. When the shit hits the fan
it can lead to long steering wheel pounding sessions stuck in the quagmire, but,
when the traffic gods are smilin there's a seeming never ending stream of cars
and trucks doin a death defying dance while hurtling along at 70-80mph, which is
a blast
