Looks like my kinda place alright, but headin north? My Texas blood's waay too
thin to head north, not to mention I'd be plum stove up all winter from all my
old injuries. I'll let the yankees shovel snow, keep their cars plugged in for
their block heaters and all that other fun cold weather stuff. Least here all I
hafta do is keep the electric company coffers full for 3-4 mos. a year so I can
run the A/C ... I'm kinda lazy like that

I'm with you Kim, let the yankees deal with the snow and cold I am too old to
stand it. If I could have that property in Arkansas I would definitely love it.

I don't know what this snow is of which you speak.
Today was the coldest day of the year so far here, and was actually cold by
normal standards; was 12C here today (54F apparently). Likely to be up with the
coldest day of the year.
That's enough for me.
I'm definitely a city guy though. Fuck random places in the countryside.

this looks a lot like the Pacific Northwest...I've lived in various parts of
the USA in my lifetime so far, spent a couple very young years in Texas but
don't remember much about it..spent several years in Minnesota and yeah it's
cold in the winter, but there are a lot of sunny days. For me personally the
summers there were worse than the winters..way too hot and humid..and way too
many thunderstorms and tornadoes...
I've also traveled through 47 of the 48 contiguous states during my long-haul
trucking days...
the Pacific Northwest is the place to be
usually only a week or two of really cold weather in the winter and usually not
too much snow if any at all...
summers are generally perfect with maybe a week or two of too hot weather...
the only shitty part is all the fucking rain in the winter...but that's why
everything is so green so we tolerate it..

Wouldn't mind Australia, after watching Mcleods's Daughters tv series, I did
fall in love with the people and the accent down under. If it weren't for the
gun issues I could live there. I prefer to protect my family myself and not
have to rely on the police.
The pacific northwest is beautiful and I would like to commune with Bigfoot but
if I never see another snow flake I would be happy.
