Well the 2 party system is all we have. Until we can come up with something better this is what we have to work with. Just because you don't like either side do you think it is better not to take part in the process and just let the chips fall where they may?

Good and smart people do what they can in their lives in the hopes of improving things for all of us and it makes a difference. It isn't all politics. Politics wastes time. I vote according to my conscience, little good that it does. Expecting governments to solve our problems is insane. We have to do it ourselves or it doesn't get done.

I said sometimes my conscience tels me to not vote and you assume I mean I don't vote at all. I've called you stupid a few times because you have said some really stupid things, but it has by no definition been continual and constant. You assume exaggerated extremes and accuse those who disagree with you. I find THAT offensive. And stupid.

You do have several choices in this you know. You can ignore me, you can stop baiting ME, or you can report me to the mods if you feel I have violated the rules.

I have no problem with you disagreeing with me, I am a full grown man and can deal with disagreements in a mature manor so I have no need to report you to the mods. Name calling is an immature method of dealing with disagreements when one really doesn't have any other method of rebuttal.

I may state some ideas occasionally which might be a little out there but they are designed to get people thinking about a subject outside the box. If I say something like turn the entire middle east into a sheet of glass, I know it can't happen but it would be said to get people thinking of ways to deal with the situation which might be outside the norm. I have actually met people who believe we should do that.

I do have other methods of rebuttal but you ignore them. I agree that name calling is generally uncalled for, however you present cases where the material is so incredibly ignorant the only sensible response is to call it what it is. I don't know how to say "you're being stupid" without it being an insult. You fish for what you catch.
