Having moved to the semi-wilds of central Texas I figure my bestest buddy Bob, who's now somewhere around 5-7yrs old, will likely succumb to natural predators when his time comes.

I love my cat, but his ending up as prey will actually be the way it was intended. I figure I'll know he's gone when one mornin I open the front door and he just iddn there to greet me
