I'll also hold to my previous observation as it's (at least one) of the reasons
I despise Tv programming ( and am beginning to feel similarly in regards to
many, if not most moovies).
If it helps you to keep the blinders on to allow you to feel better about your
own race and gender, then by all means continue to do so. As always, my thoughts
are my own and will never require your agreement (nor that of anyone else) to
validate them.
So, if you choose not to see what is as plain as the nose on your face ....
that'll still be just fine with me

There is nothing wrong about semantics. It is important to understand the
meanings of words if you're going to be using them.
The only reason you call me a liberal is because I don't buy your
uber-conservative bullshit. It isn't so much that it's conservative but that it
is narrow minded and overly opinionated. I say the same thing about
ultra-liberals. No one is ever going to get anywhere or solve any problems by
being an extremist. You laud and swear by the constitution yet fail to realize
that it exists as the result of compromise between opposing views. People have
to work together for a common cause. That is what makes a society work.
