definitely NOT gator proof.

There's not a canoe or kayak in existance that's gator proof unless it's one of
those high dollar kevlar jobs, Even though my canoe is more tippy than the kayak
I'll go into places with a higher lilekihood of encountering a gator with it
because I'm seated inboard where legs can't be chomped down on and the larger
canoe is more intimidating to the animals. So far in 25 years of paddling I've
only seen one gator large enough to take me down that didn't swim away like a
frightened guppy when I was near, but I'm always aware that there may be others
like that one, especially with the gator population explosion that has taken
place during those years. I figured somebody had put together something like
this somewhere and it's really not a bad idea, all those individual flotation
chambers instead of one big chamber like my kayak - if I get a hole in the kayak
or canoe I'm going down. Not so with this bottlak.
