I drive past the Sheriff's impound yard two or three times a week and this has
been sitting there for months. I wonder if the charge was conspicuous
ridiculousness. Probably not. Not a bad looking car other than the dumbass
wheels.

$3500 @ auction and it's probably yours.

The wheels definitely ruin it.
fossil_digger Report This Comment Date: March 19, 2012 05:42PM
then take off the wheels and tires, sell them to ..some cheeseball recovering
$1000 or more of auction price and buy some
NICE rims and tires

I don't get the fad for low profile tires these days. From what I read they
just fuck up the ride and have a shorter life and cost more. They serve no
purpose at least on the street and they look dorky in most cases. I had a friend
with a Miata who put thin tires on it and it was the worst fucking ride ever.
Miatas are bad enough with normal wheels but this was like riding in a
horse-drawn buggy going 55. He had to slow down to like 2 mph for railroad
tracks and it still threatened to give spinal compression fractures.

my Mustang rode like hell before i put that strut tower brace on it because of
the 3" lowering kit. i also will not ever have any offset tread pattern
drifter tires EVER again.

.
the only thing that will help this particular car's ride is an air ride system.
i bet it handles like a horse drawn buggy like it is. (headexplode)

Skidmore tires, huh?

The shit-pumper truck in the back would be a good buy. It can make you money if
you don't mind getting dirty.
quasi Report This Comment Date: March 19, 2012 09:50PM
Yeah, $5000 for the truck and $5000 for all the fees, licenses, permits, and
education & testing to get same to operate in an area full of cheap old
fucks and out of work people. There's a reason why small businesses are dying
off.

i like that body style of Cadillac, but it's still a over priced shitass Chevy
in my eyes.
woberto Report This Comment Date: March 20, 2012 10:25AM
Really? You need a licence to pump shit or grease?
Local Governments are always promoting recycling, why make it harder?
quasi Report This Comment Date: March 20, 2012 12:23PM
I don't know about Oz but in Florida one needs a license for any business and
many if not most require testing and adherance to strict guidelines. I
understand that the regulations are put in place to protect the customers of
these businesses and, in this case, the environment, but it's become very
oppressive and detrimental to anyone wishing to start a small business. I've
been kicking around the idea for my own business that will fill a niche here,
though it'll have to wait until the situation with my ailing mom plays out, and
the number of agencies, local, state, and federal, that will have to be dealt
with (and paid, of course) is daunting. Over 20 years ago I saw cartoon taped to
the desk at the county building department here that is so true; it said,
"My grandfather built a nation and I need five permits to build a
porch."
In addition, there are already several septic pumping services in the area which
have been here for a very long time. The competition, believe it or not, is
fierce. I know because I used to sell products to many of them.
