Nostradamus wasn't privy to the Mayan "prophecies". the Egyptians
weren't aware of Nostradamus or Edgar Cayce. Cayce did know of all including the
I Ching and the Hopi Indians who did not know of the fore mentioned.
maybe all of them needed a bigger stone? except maybe the Hopi.

Mayans, Nostradamus and other sources of "mysterious knowledge" are
about as accurate as astrology, ouija boards, tarot cards, palm readers, tea
leaf readers, and phrenologists. In other words, it's a bunch of crap.
Don't any of today's "Mayan Prophecy" alarmists remember back to when
everyone thought the world would end on Dec. 31, 1999?
Guess what? People also thought the world was going to end on Dec. 31, 1899 and
Dec. 31, 1799.
The world will indeed end some day, but it won't be on our schedule or have
anything to do with some arbitrary date we mark on our calendars. That's not how
the cosmos works.
Dec. 21, 2012 will come and go without incident, except for some fools who will
probably kill themselves. After that, feeble-minded people will begin proposing
the next date for "the big end."

The Mayan's "civilization" didn't even make it to the end of their
own calendar. What's that tell you? And how "civilized" and
"enlightened" is a culture that practiced human sacrifice anyway?
Besides their calendar didn't predict the end of the world in the first place so
it is all a bunch of sensationalist made up bullshit anyway just like every
other so called prediction of the end of the world has been and will be. When
the physicists and astronomers say a big assed comet or asteroid is on a
collision course with the earth then I might pay attention and it wouldn't make
a damn bit of difference if I did or not. I think the cartoon is closer to the
truth. They probably just got tired of doing the math.

The world ended in 1982 during a planetary alignment but nobody paid attention.
