You can't argue with anyone who just wants to tea bag you or who plays the race
card once they realize they have no real argument. Now go back to watching FAUX
News.

Meaningful debate cannot follow devisive or personal attacks upon the opposing
participants character as this violates the basic tenets of debate. Calling
people "teabaggers" (or as some take that a step further by using
innuendo to associate the practice of "teabagging" with these folks),
right-wing nut jobs, racists, unsympathetics to the "plight" of the
uninsured, etc. only reveals the underlying intent of the person spewing this
hate speech to not debate the issue at all. Since actual debate takes a fair
amount of intellect combined with commensurate verbal skills it's really little
wonder the libs don't want any part of an honest debate with all the facts on
the table and the BS left at the door.
So, head on back over to ABC, CBS, NBC or any of the other networks that
continue to serve as the all coddling mouthpieces for the agenda of the current
administration since exploring all the data and making real determinations with
all the facts clearly stated seems well beyond your scope of possibility.
And maybe, just maybe, if you babble your erronious data long enough and loud
enough you could even convince a few other mental midgets of your distorted and
ill informed "truths"

there's a good reason why Fox is #1.

"unsympathetics to the "plight" of the uninsured" This
phrase I would like to understand how the health care bill helps those who are
uninsured? Most the uninsured are uninsured because they simply can't afford
insurance so how does the health care bill solve this problem? I have been
uninsured before but it was not because I couldn't find insurance, it was
because I couldn't afford it. Will the health care bill give insurance to those
people without them having to pay for it or will it just make it illegal for
them not to have insurance? I would like for someone to read the bill and give
me an honest answer to this question.

The best info I have gleaned says yes, everyone will be required to buy health
insurance with those choosing not to do so paying a penalty which will be
attached against your yearly federal income tax. This is a nifty little trick
mechanism as it will also mean any unpaid balance will also have interest
charged against it and .... make you into a federal criminal if you refuse to
pay and will then give the same rights to the IRS to recover these costs as they
do now with unpaid income tax which means they could attach your bank accounts,
cars, home and personal property to recover your "unpaid tax".
And ... if you're too poor to afford this mandated expense and can show proof
there will be credits and subsidies to help defray the costs to those in need,
but .... you'll still have to buy a policy regardless of your ability
financially to do so and then be re-paid afterwards with deductions to the
federal income tax you owe at the end of the year.
There are so many nasty provisions contained in this bill that they are way to
lengthy to go over here. Rest assured it's all much more about further
governmental intervention and control than it is about some altruistic idea of
helping the average joe or in even doing anything about the overall health care
costs people pay now.
It will serve in a large part to further undermine Medicare as nearly 1/2 the
money they claim for funding this program will come directly from the already
underfunded and nearly bankrupt Medicare coffers.
One really nagging question that keeps cropping up in this debate to me is ...
if this is such an important issue that MUST BE ADDRESSED ASAP why is it none of
it is set to actually take effect until years, not months after it is voted on?
With that in mind it seems much more like a last ditch power grab by the libs
before the tables turn as is predicted in the next round of elections and much
less about dealing with any perceived real need

Additionally it would be another nail in the gallows being built for the
American Economy. Everyone in DC from Congress to the White House should be
tried for treason for their actions working with the terrorists to destroy our
nation economically.

Nah, just make 'em play by the rules outlined in the Constitution. If they did
that it would stop all this unconstitutional nonsense dead in it's tracks

"there's a good reason why Fox is #1."
Because most of their female news reporters are freaking HOT and they make sure
they show some leg.
But wait, even the shows that don't have that like O'Riley, Huckabee and Beck
have better ratings than the self admittedly liberally biased media does in
those same time slots...hmmmm.

the building Fox is based.
Lexx Report This Comment Date: December 05, 2009 05:24PM
Fox may have conservatives leanings, but I like how they do at least try to be
"fair and balanced".
If you think about it, all the rest of the mainstream media leans so far to the
left that anyone who came out and told the truth, without any bias, would seem
rightwing in comparison, even if they were completely neutral.

I never would have discovered fox news if it weren't for all the people here
years ago slamming the network. Since then I have been a huge fan of the
network. Thank you all for turning me on to the network and I am sure it is
people who hate the network who made them the number one cable news network.
