This seems to be an interesting way to keep the combustion forces acting on the
piston and rod assemblies and the interface between the rod/crankshaft and
piston in a much more linear fashion which should increase the service life of
the bores and pistons as well.
I can't imagine the cost to purchase one of these but I'm sure even a rebuild
would be astronomical economically so this is some really "smart
cookie" engineering with that all in mind
