There's a place up the river not far from here where folks find a lot of stuff
like that in the river bed that has been churned up during the faster, higher
water of rainy season. Because of natural climate changes, Florida has been both
above and below sea level so many times that you can find fossils of land and
sea creatures all over the place. My daughter has a sharks tooth fossil damned
near as big as my hand that she found a good 10 miles inland.

diving the rivers upstream from the coast in Megalodon country. that tooth is
worth at least 600 bucks! if there are visible serrations on the edges...850. if
there is another tooth imbedded in it.....3-5000!! and even more

that mammoth tooth is worth upwards of 10,000, depending on quality of the
interior
