Who in their right mind would use a 'vette as a towing vehicle?

Like I said, who in their right mind!
And son? Just how old (young) do you think I am?

son is a familiar derogatory spoken no matter of the recipients age. my self
being of the older minority here gets everyone a "son".
if i remember right you are one of the few that are older than me.....son

Boat ramps are slick. That is a BIG risk not having 4x4.
...poor 'vette

Have pulled many a boat out of the water using a 2 wheel drive, Sam - even
front wheel drive! Was not what I was referring too - a 'vette is supposoedly a
sports car, with sports handling. Put a boat on the back and the rear
suspension's gonna be overloaded and the fuel economy is gonna be through the
floor!

I'd be more concerned with the transmission and differential's longevity than
anything else.

I was refering to cars don't float and two wheel drive is taking a big risk on
a boat ramp....

on every truck i've had, i have welded a receiver box underneath the front
bumper....plug in your receiver bar, hook up, and push that puppy in....except
when i had a 4x4.

Anybody who tows anything with a sports car shouldn't own one.
