Must've seen 18 or 20 of the little buggers tonight while I was in the woods - too bad it's a preserve, I'd love to bag one once in awhile. Yummy. Just shoot 'em with the camera though. With times the way they are, though, I expect there's plenty of illegal game taking going on, though. Someone even butchered a cow right in the middle of a field near here the other night.

At least twice in the last few weeks, I've had moose in my front yard. I wasn't home either time, but they left their calling cards. Looks like one of them scooped out a big hole in the snow and had himself a little bit of a lie-down, before he left me a present. As long as they don't eat my lilac tree, I don't worry about them too much, but if the shit hits the fan, I'm not too nice to plug the big furry bastards, right in the front yard. I have a chainsaw and a sharp, big-ass knife.
