This cat definitely had a better grip on what's right and what's wrong within
our government and a plan to move in a path to fix it. He at least understood
that our Federal govt. is seriously outta touch with its intended purposes and
functions and wanted to implement change to move it back to more of its proper
position which is a far cry from what either Obama or McCain ever stumped
for.
Of course since he made sense, it was always assured he'd never get elected

The media portrayed him as a flake. Now the American public will be forced to
pay for major news inept reporting. Ron Paul was just what this country needed.
True conservative roots. Stop illegal immigration, get rid of failing government
institutions and stop printing money as a bandage for a failing economy. Remove
wasteful federal control over peoples liberties.

And you just got bitch-slapped with the punchline

Sory mint, but I never envisioned Ron Paul as a flake. He was not a great
public speaker like our new pres. elect, but it dudn matter when you talk outta
which ever side of your head the political winds of today discern is
appropriate, like Obama does.
Of all the candidates we saw in this election, at least to me, Ron Paul was
absolutely the most unwavering in his positions and appeared far more genuine in
his thoughts and purposes than did anyone else running.
I'm with Duane on this one, he was EXACTLY what we needed and many factors
conspired to insure he would never get the chance, not the least of which being
that his ideologies were racical, but only in the sense that they were intended
to disempower the behemoth the Federal govt. has become, and continues to
become, which is exactly what needs to happen to get us back to a true sense of
US Constitutional government

Thank you sir. Check the pie charts on the video and imagine how bad the
problem will be with the illegals added to the equation. It's ridiculous.

Our prisons and court systems are loaded with drug cases that only get worse
every year because the DEA does not work. Our children are falling behind third
world countries because of the Department of Education failings. The IRS is
another institution that should be closed. We should only tax goods not income.
The federal reserve, we should only print money with gold to back it up. These
ideas don't treat the symptoms, they treat the infection. No candidate out there
wanted to fix the problem because their special interests make there money
through these institutions. Not even news agencies with their sponsors can be
trusted. Just look at how they treated him. States should have control over most
law making not a large one size fits all government.
Just my opinion about drugs is that pot is not in the same class as cocaine and
heroin. If you sell cocaine (not sure about heroin) you get better deals on weed
because it's the same path to the goods. If you make pot legal you eliminate the
path and and the products are harder to sell. Its the equivalent of walking up
to a man with a beer and asking if he knows where to get crack. If the hard
drugs are not as accessible you get less addicts, hence less crime(prostitution,
gang violence, murder, theft, assault) and less new users. Smaller prison
populations also.
