I didn't ask for the gory details, but I just learned the other day that I'm
gonna be a grandpa around the middle of next May because of a condom malfunction
(that's one planned and one unplanned grandkid on the way). I'm not one of those
abstinence preaching idiots, but there is only one sure way to avoid a positive
result on one one of these tests. My 20 year old son is in no way ready to be a
dad but he needs to get there quickly. Play time is over.

Condom malfunction ? Is that like when you don't take it outta the package and
it dudn work?
I keep waiting for the male version of the pill. It would sure change the
playin field if men were in control and didn have to desensitize the event to
keep themselves free of unplanned pregnancies. I have read though that women
groups are poised to cry foul if a man were to wittingly have the right to not
impregnate a woman and then execrcised that right.
Until women are no longer rewarded for years when they get pregnant, they will
continue to use every method and any level of sculdugery available to them to
trap men into fatherhood, regardless of the social impact or cost to themselves,
the fathers or the children.
While we men are certainly no angels, women are deceitful, coniving and many of
them are down right evil in how they manipulate men and the law to their
advantage and knowingly and willfully foist fatherhood onto men who really were
just pokin fun at the whole situation

MrKim.. Amen Brother.
If I tell a woman that i am fixed, a majority are no longer interested in any
form of a relationship with me. I was 24 when I got myself fixed. I had to argue
with the doctors to have the procedure done. I weighed the argument of already
having been through 7 pregnancies resulting in 3 children. Only in that way was
I allowed the right to be sterilized.
I wish I could have had children much later in life, but I really don't know if
I would have had any looking back on it all and I wish I could have gotten fixed
at 16 years old instead. Can you imagine I male asking for permanent birth
control at a teen level? they would call out the police and rat him out to his
parents, but you 12 year old daughter can get an abortion as a form of birth
control and no one has the right to know.
Double standards is all I see.
Quazi.... Dude sorry to hear that. I know it will be difficult for him. When I
was 20 I had a 3yr old and 1 yr old. What a fuck up for them and for myself. and
the endless misery still continues to this day. Being a father so young has
ruined my life in so many ways.

I have a 4 month old, my first of 2 I hope. I am 30-something-or-other and I
am glad I waited. I know I won't be the perfect parent, (who is?), but when I
look at some of the young mothers around here I shake my head and realize why
kids today are the way they are, they don't know anything about anything. They
still think ice-cream and TV are the best way to make your baby love you.
Personally I intend to earn my children's respect by being austere and cruel.
They will look back and think of how I moulded their characters, and then tell
the psychiatrist all about it.
