Recently a lot of strange round-ice formations have been seen in Russia. People
don’t know what causes ice to form big ice circles first and then smaller ones
appear around the mother-formation.

The truth is out there.

I'd have to go with skating rink... blades thin the ice which melts first in
the ring pattern. The pieces that break up would naturally round themselves off
against each other if there is any sort of current to keep them moving even
slowly. Possibly more prevalent this year if the climate was conducive to a
slow ice melt.
Just my guess.

Carbon Dioxide and Methane gas rising to the surface created these formations.

I like 90210's answer best, seconded by my Crop Circle uneducated guess.

Thanks PLP. Speaking of unusual phenomena....where is Fossil Digger these days?
He's usually the post whore on this site and haven't seen anything from him
lately. Did he finally get pissed off or something?

Actually Fossil's confuser had a major mishap. With out going into too much
detail, his computer had 1000 viruses and the main NTFS partition was re written
with a chip away, that made the HD sound like it was physicaly crashing. So He
took it to Mr.Kim and they, together decided the inside needed cleaning and
pulled the processor out by way of the heat sink and broke 2 pins and and bent
40 more pins. So to wrap this up Fossil sent the computer to me here in
P-Town/The Beav, and I am unfuxoring it this week. had to order parts (new proc)
and not sure if it will take, but I hope they do and then I will restore his OS.
so after I send it back to him he should be back an ruining in no time =)

Hahaha!...Well maybe since you're local you can rebuild my old Dell? She's a
beaut...366Mhz processor and a dandy of a 6Mb hard drive. I don't do
spreadsheets or run multiple applications. I do want to keep XP Pro since its
familiar and everyone thinks Vista totally blows.
I was actually thinking of taking it out to the firing range and trying out some
new .308 boat-tail match ammo on it.

BTW, my HD sounds like a coffee mill. Should I get a new computer or grind some
beans?
