Cat = Fuzzy Freeloader.

Dogs earn their keep, even those little kick dogs that you accidently step on and crush thier hip, those bastards keep your kitchen floor clean.

Cats will eat you if you die. A dog will protect you even if you have been dead for a year. Dogs have soul.
